My friend has a Home 250 Plan Broadband connection in his home. He also has another connection at his shop which is Business 5000 Plan. Now in his shop he has Dlink GLB-502T ADSL2+ Router and in his home he has Type I modem from BSNL. Now he cannot connect to Internet at his home using his shop’s username and password. So he can only access Business 5000 Plan from his shop and not from his home. Please provide a solution so that his could access net from his home using his Type I modem from BSNL.

This is common problem.
When BSNL gives internet connection, it has one wire connected to their nearest node/local server. When you authenticate your user name and password, it is not done at 1 place common in India. It is done at nearest small server near you. It may be done at router from which ur business plan is working.
In case you want to access such 2 plans then if they r identical then it may be possible. Ask BSNL if it is possible.
If you have any dial up connection then you can put that user name and password to any dial up line/ telephone line of BSNL and u can connect get net anywhere. I sometimes did that.
But there cannot be interchange between dialup and broadband or
between business plan and personal plan.
please check with BSNL or any other computer expert.
My opinion is no.
Thank you.
