I would like to improve my english communication skills. English is not my first language. It seems like I know the language very well but when i’m talking to people it really gets hard for me. I feel like I really dont know many words to express myself. Like if I want to say something but just can’t. Is this normal? what should i do to become a better English speaker?
i do go to school…university level i’m getting my BS in Finance next yr. im 21

hang around english speaking people. an old roomate of mine was from ghana and her english, to be frank sucked. but after half a year later we had her cussin ,shouting and speaking good english. her accent is still there but you can understand her clearly
